1. Who we are

Prospect Catcher ("we", "us") provides a browser extension and website that help you manage LinkedIn outreach. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.

2. What runs locally (and never reaches us)

• Your LinkedIn credentials. You log in to LinkedIn yourself, in your own browser. We never see, request, or store your LinkedIn password or session.
• Outreach actions. Connection requests and follow-up messages are performed by the extension inside your own browser tab, using your own session and IP.
• Prospect data you scrape (names, headlines, public profile URLs) is stored locally in your browser by default.

3. What we collect (only if you create an account)

• Account info: your email address and authentication details, to sign you in.
• Synced app data: if you enable cloud sync, your campaigns, message templates, and prospect lists are stored in your private account so you can access them across devices.
• Billing: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never store your full card number.
• Basic diagnostics: aggregate, non-identifying usage and error data to keep the product working.

4. How we use it

To provide and maintain the service, authenticate you, sync your data, process payment, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

5. Where data is stored

Local data lives in your browser's storage. Account data (if enabled) is stored with our infrastructure providers (e.g. Supabase) and payment processor (Stripe), who process it on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

6. Your choices & rights

• Use the extension fully offline without an account — no data reaches us.
• Export your prospects to CSV at any time.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Where applicable (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), we honour your data-subject rights.

7. Third parties

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn. Use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn's own terms and privacy policy.
